Du hast Diskriminierung oder Gewalt durch die Polizei erlebt?
Die Polizei handelt oft diskriminierend und gewaltvoll. Wir wollen Fälle von Polizeigewalt und diskriminierende Behandlung durch die Polizei sammeln und an die Öffentlichkeit bringen um zu zeigen – die Polizei löst keine Probleme sondern macht uns unsicher! Außerdem beraten wir Betroffene und bieten Unterstützung an.
Polizeigewalt kann ganz verschieden aussehen:
Die Polizei kontrolliert dich einfach so ohne Grund wegen deiner Hautfarbe oder deines Aussehens? Das ist eine rassistische Polizeikontrolle (racial profiling). Racial profiling ist zwar für die Polizei verboten, wird aber trotzdem oft in der Praxis gemacht.
Auch Menschen die für die Polizei im öffentlichen Raum „auffallen“ wegen ihrer sexuellen Orientierung, typisch „linkem“ Aussehen, weil sie wohnungslos oder drogennutzend sind, werden oft grundlos kontrolliert. Auch das sind diskriminierende Kontrollen
Die Polizei beschimpft dich, schlägt dich, ist agressiv, handelt unprofessionell und willkürlich?
Deine Erfahrungen wahr und sie sind es wert, erzählt zu werden. Dabei ist es für uns unwichtig, was du selbst vorher gemacht hast. Die Polizei muss zu jedem Zeitpunkt professionell und nach dem Gesetz handeln.
Erzähl uns von deinen Erlebnissen mit Polizeigewalt, du musst die Gewalt nicht selbst erlebt haben, du kannst auch Zeug:in gewesen sein und möchtest uns davon mitteilen.

Wenn du uns schreibst, achte darauf:
Nenne keine echten Namen, beschreibe keine Taten von dir selbst oder anderen, die vielleicht strafbar sein könnten. Wenn sie wichtig für die Geschichte sind, beschreibe sie sehr grob.
Du kannst folgende Fragen beantworten:
Wo und wann ist es passiert?
Ort, am besten so genau wie möglich
Zeitpunkt und wie lange dauerte es
Was ist passiert?
Warst du selbst betroffen oder hast du nur beobachtet?
Welche Maßnahme wurde von der Polizei durchgeführt? Wie hat die Polizei die Maßnahme begründet?
Wie hat die Polizei gehandelt (z.B. Personalien festgestellt, durchsucht, eine Person mitgenommen)? Hat sie Gewalt angedroht oder angewendet?
Was erschien dir an der Maßnahme rechtswidrig oder unprofessionell? Waren andere Zeug*innen da?
Wer?
Konntest du sehen, welche Einheit oder welche Beamt*in gehandelt hat?
Alle haben unterschiedliche Aufgaben. Vielleicht konntest du die Abzeichen sehen auf dem Arm oder die Nummer auf dem Rücken und hast sie dir gemerkt? Das Abzeichen steht für das Bundesland oder den Bund und die Nummer für die Einheit. Bei größeren Einsätzen, wie Demonstrationen, sind oft auch Einheiten aus anderen Bundesländern im Einsatz.
Beamt*innen müssen sich bei Durchführung der Maßnahme ausweisen, wenn du das verlangst (§ 11 SächsPVDG bzw. SächsPBG).1 Wenn du den Namen oder die Dienstnummer hast, schreibe auch die gern mit rein.

Was passiert dann?
Wir speichern deinen Bericht und tragen anonym ihn in unsere Statistik ein um damit öffentlichen Druck aufzubauen und zu zeigen, wie viele diskriminierende Polizeikontrollen und Polizeigewalt es wirklich gibt.
Wenn du das möchtest, gehen wir gemeinsam damit an die Öffentlichkeit, wir können auch Kontakt zu Journalist*innen oder Anwält*innen herstellen. Wenn du weitere Unterstützung brauchst, beraten wir dich dazu.

Have you experienced discrimination or violence by police?
The police often act in a discriminatory and violent way. We want to collect cases of police violence and bring them to the public to show – the police that do not solve problems, but endangers our lives and feeling of security ! We also want to give advise to people who suffered from police violence and support them.
Police violence has several shapes:
The police checks you for no reason because of your skin color or appearance? This is racial profiling. Although racial profiling is prohibited by law, it is still often done in practice.
People who „stand out“ to the police in public spaces because of their sexual orientation, typical „left“ appearance, because they are homeless or use drugs, are often checked for no reason. These, too, are discriminatory controls.
The police insulted you, beat you, was aggressive, acted unprofessionally and arbitrarily?
Your experiences are true and they are worth telling. It doesn’t matter to us what you’ve done before , if there was a „reason“ for the police check. The police must act professionally and in accordance with the law at all times.

When you write to us, make sure that:
Don’t give real names, don’t describe actions by yourself or others that might be punishable. If they are important to the story, describe them roughly.
You can answer the following questions:
Where and when did it happen?
place, preferably as accurate as possible,
time and for how long
What happened?
Were you affected yourself or did you observe the situation?
What action was carried out by the police?
How did the police justify the measure?
How did the police act (e.g. personal details, searched, took a person away)?
Did the police threaten or use violence?
What did you find unlawful or unprofessional about the measure? Were there other witnesses?
Who?
Were you able to see which unit or officer acted?
All of them have different tasks. Maybe you could see the badges on their arm or the number on their back and remember them? The badge stands for the state or federal government and the number for the unit. In the case of larger operations, such as demonstrations, units from other federal states are often working.
Civil servants must identify themselves when carrying out the measure if you request it (§ 11 SächsPVDG or SächsPBG). If you have the name or service number, feel free to write it down as well.

We save your report and add it anonymously into our statistics to build up public pressure and show how many discriminatory police controls and police violence there really are.
